A global medical technology organization with a growing U.S. sales and service operation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team in Peachtree Corners. This is a key hire supporting a fast growing $30M U.S. division. This role is a unique opportunity for someone who is ready to step into a broader leadership track. The company is intentionally seeking a strong Senior Accountant who wants to develop management experience now.

The Opportunity

In this hands-on role, you will oversee core accounting activities, support month-end reporting, coordinate tax matters, and partner closely with the U.S. General Manager. You will also help guide a small clerical team supporting shipping, inventory, billing, and A/P.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values stability (40 hours per week), and wants real advancement within a growing, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting functions including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger activity, payroll coordination, and expense reporting
  • Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Lead the month-end close process
  • Coordinate sales tax reporting and support external CPA firm on tax filings
  • Maintain internal controls and update accounting procedures
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis (FP&A training provided)
  • Partner with U.S. General Manager on operational and financial initiatives
  • Provide leadership and direction to clerical staff assisting with shipping, inventory, and light accounting tasks
  • Manage banking activities and assist with budgeting as training develops

What You Bring
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong skills in Excel and QuickBooks; SAP or Power BI exposure is a plus
  • Sales tax experience preferred
  • Strong communication abilities and a proactive mindset
  • Interest in growing into a Manager or Controller-level role
