Senior Account Manager

Position Overview
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by managing and expanding your client base. You are forward-thinking, innovative, and always looking for new ways to exceed expectations. With a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of client and business needs, you will take a proactive approach to sales and account management.
What You Bring
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in strategic sales.
- Experience in Electric Motors and Industrial Sales is highly desirable.
- A client-focused, motivated team player with a strong drive to succeed.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling client pitches.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and MS Dynamics CRM.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with clients to meet assigned sales targets.
- Focus sales efforts primarily on End Users, Distribution Partners, Consulting Firms, and OEMs across British Columbia.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including inside sales, support, and management, to ensure optimal account performance.
- Assess, clarify, and address customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and execute strategic customer account plans that align with company standards.
- Negotiate terms of sale within authority limits.
- Meet with new and existing clients regularly to maintain and grow business relationships.
- Travel across British Columbia as needed to meet client and business requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, company products, and market developments.
- Provide valuable market feedback to enhance business strategies.
