Our client in the Port-of-Spain area is seeking to recruit for a Senior Account Executive.


You will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship with new clients as well as maintaining a strong relationship with existing ones. Your effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills will help you succeed as a Senior Account Executive

NB: Previous Account Executive or Client Services experience in an Advertising Agency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Manage and track client outreach
  • Strategize innovative ways to reach new clients
  • Communicate strategy to relevant team-members
  • Help foster a positive, proactive and exceptional team environment
  • Contribute to long-term business retention

Planning/consulting

  • Develop and evolve strategic recommendations to exceed our client’s objectives
  • Facilitate client meetings and presentation of strategic deliverables to client
  • Ensure strategic recommendations are carried out through all subsequent work
  • Keep client and team abreast of industry trends and best practices
  • Routinely review client’s objectives and online needs

Client management

  • Develop trusted, consultative relationship with clients
  • Meet with clients and internal team to define, scope, and implement new project needs
  • Meet with clients to review account status and direction on a regular basis
  • Provide client with weekly client status reports
  • Effectively support the Strategic, Creative Direction and Production efforts in selling the work to clients

Ensure client satisfaction

  • Consistently and reliably serve our client’s needs
  • Ensure delivery of superior quality, effective work
  • Establish effective working relationships as client advisor and advocate
  • Maintain open, polite, patient, professional, and timely communication

Ensure account profitability and growth

  • Deliver projects on budget through project estimating, tracking, reporting and invoice and receivables tracking
  • Develop statements of work and change orders
  • Keep clients abreast of budget throughout projects and present change orders when necessary
  • Identify opportunities for growth and ongoing plans to address client business goals

  • Actively participate in agency new business efforts
  • Work closely with agency Growth teams to ensure agency is meeting its growth target
  • Participate in agency new business proposals and pitches

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' of relevant experience
  • Organized and able to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
