Seed Buyer - Colorado

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Seed Buyer to join a successful specialty seed business and team based in Denver, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in purchasing and supply chain within the agriculture or specialty seed industries.

What you will be doing:

Work from the Denver-based office while calling on and coordinating with global growers and open market seed suppliers
Source seed from a global network to meet production team needs
Learn and apply key seed quality specifications such as purity and germination
Handle purchase order (P/O) creation and tracking
Engage regularly with suppliers by phone to ensure timely communication and execution

A successful candidate for this Seed Buyer role will possess the following:

Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills, especially over the phone
Basic office and project management capabilities
A desire to learn about seed quality, purchasing, and global sourcing
The ability to collaborate closely with production and trading teams
Background in agriculture or flowers is a plus, but not required

Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 base salary, 15–20% bonus potential
