Calling all nurses! We are looking for Registered Nurses to work in school setting to support local school health offices in Monroe County. We have Long-Term and Substitute School Nurse openings.
Do you have free weekday days where you could dedicate to school nursing? Come join our team and support our local school communities.
Caswood is working with several schools in Monroe County who need assistance on a weekly basis. This is per diem. We will orient you with all you need to know!

If you are interested in either the long-term or substitute school nursing please let us know. We will have substitute school nursing opportunities all year starting immediately.
We will orient you in school nursing if you don't have prior experience.

Sub Nurse Job Requirements

  • NYS Registered Nursing License
  • BLS
  • Dependability
  • Clean background check and drug screen
  • Computer skills
  • Must have a valid NYS RN license
  • Compassion
  • Multitasking
  • Physically manage a fast paced school health office, responding to classroom emergencies
  • Attending Field Trips off site
  • Understanding of the pediatric population
  • Strong sense of basic nursing skills
  • High level of autonomy
  • Work well with other school staff
