Job Description

The Scheduling Assistant supports the production scheduling process by assisting with schedule updates, tracking materials, and communicating with internal teams to help ensure on-time delivery to customers. This role works closely with Sales, Logistics, Operations, and other departments to keep schedules accurate and organized.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists the scheduling team by updating production schedules and communicating changes to the appropriate departments.

  • Acts as a point of contact for basic scheduling questions from sales, logistics, and operations.

  • Helps track raw material and long-lead item deliveries, updating schedules accordingly.

  • Supports schedule revisions and alerts team members of any potential delays or conflicts.

  • Assists in maintaining data on inventory levels, orders, and resource availability to support the scheduling process.

  • Participates in scheduling and planning meetings by taking notes, gathering data, and following up on action items.

  • Helps monitor and report on key metrics, highlighting potential issues to the scheduling team.

  • Performs general administrative and coordination tasks to support the scheduling and production teams.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
