Scheduling Assistant
Job Description
The Scheduling Assistant supports the production scheduling process by assisting with schedule updates, tracking materials, and communicating with internal teams to help ensure on-time delivery to customers. This role works closely with Sales, Logistics, Operations, and other departments to keep schedules accurate and organized.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Assists the scheduling team by updating production schedules and communicating changes to the appropriate departments.

Acts as a point of contact for basic scheduling questions from sales, logistics, and operations.

Helps track raw material and long-lead item deliveries, updating schedules accordingly.

Supports schedule revisions and alerts team members of any potential delays or conflicts.

Assists in maintaining data on inventory levels, orders, and resource availability to support the scheduling process.

Participates in scheduling and planning meetings by taking notes, gathering data, and following up on action items.

Helps monitor and report on key metrics, highlighting potential issues to the scheduling team.

Performs general administrative and coordination tasks to support the scheduling and production teams.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
