Job Description

We’re partnering with a respected, family-owned custom food company that has built its reputation on quality, safety, and innovation. This organization is seeking a proactive Sanitation Supervisor to oversee a 3rd party sanitation company/process and drive performance through leadership, accountability, and floor presence.

If you are a hands-on sanitation leader ready to own and elevate sanitation processes in a fast-paced, high-quality food manufacturing environment, this could be for you! This is your chance to step into a strategic role where your leadership will directly impact food safety, product integrity, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Own:

  • Oversee and manage third-party sanitation teams during third shift (approx. 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
  • Act as the on-site representative of the company, ensuring all cleaning and sanitation protocols are executed effectively and thoroughly
  • Inspect and validate sanitation outcomes prior to pre-op inspections—take ownership of the end result
  • Set clear expectations for safety, performance, and communication across the sanitation team
  • Work cross-functionally with QA, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Identify training needs, track performance, and coach team members to ensure consistent improvement
  • Be the point person for sanitation during audits, ensuring readiness and documentation

What’s in It for You:

  • A leadership role with the opportunity to make immediate, visible impact
  • Direct exposure to company leadership and a seat at the table for decision-making
  • An organization that values grit, initiative, and doing the right thing
  • A collaborative environment where your voice will be heard

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in sanitation leadership within a food, dairy, beverage, or pharma environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles and cleaning/sanitizing processes
  • Ability to hold third-party teams accountable while fostering strong working relationships
  • Comfortable working third shift and maintaining a visible presence on the floor
  • Someone who sees sanitation not as a checkbox—but as a pillar of food manufacturing excellence
