Hire Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation & Facilities Associate for one of our clients. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining buildings and grounds to Silliker standards across multiple areas of the Division. Specific duties vary based on the shift assigned.

You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment across offices, break rooms, the distribution center, and transportation facilities.

Essential Job Functions / Principal Accountabilities

The duties listed below are representative of the responsibilities of this role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

A teammate in this position must be able to:

Maintain Cleanliness in Multiple Facility Areas

Office Areas:

  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • Clean copy room and restrooms

Break Rooms, Entrances & Locker Rooms:

  • Wash windows and clean floors
  • Pick up trash and debris
  • Clean sinks, countertops, and food prep areas
  • Replenish supplies and maintain restroom cleanliness

Distribution Center (DC):

  • Clean floors, remove trash, and maintain dock plates and pallets

Transportation Building:

  • Maintain office, break room, and bathroom areas

Maintain Division Grounds

  • Mow grass
  • Pick up trash
  • Maintain walkways and outdoor areas

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

A teammate in this position must:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Possess previous sanitation/janitorial experience
  • Be able to safely operate cleaning equipment including:
    • Cleaning products
    • Riding mower
    • Electric floor cleaner
    • Vacuum cleaner
  • Follow direction and work independently
  • Be trained/certified on a pallet jack within 30 days of hire
  • Successfully pass:
    • Physical capabilities test
    • Drug screen
    • Criminal background check

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach above the head continuously for two hours or more
  • Work environment includes all areas of a Distribution Center
  • Closed-toe shoes are required at all times
