Position Overview

  • Company is seeking a high‑energy hunter who can open doors and win net‑new business focused on core platform sales in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
  • You will be responsible for leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles—from first touch through close—using qualification methodology, recording every step in Salesforce with precision and forecasting accuracy.
  • Success in this role requires a proven track record of exceeding quota by selling core system platforms, policy administration and agency management systems into insurance MGAs and Brokers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop a robust pipeline of net‑new logos, leveraging cold outreach, networking, and partner referrals.
  • Orchestrate the full sales cycle: discovery, value engineering, proposal, procurement, InfoSec, and executive alignment.
  • Apply the MEDDIC framework (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria & Process, Identify Pain, Champion) to qualify deals and drive them to close.
  • Document all activities, opportunity stages, MEDDIC or BANT fields, and next steps in Salesforce daily to maintain deal hygiene and forecast accuracy.
  • Harness AI‑powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Clari AI) to personalize messaging, generate call briefs, analyze conversations, and optimize cadences.
  • Partner with Marketing and Solution Consulting to craft tailored value propositions and demos that resonate with insurance personas (underwriting, claims, operations, innovation).
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in coordination with Legal and Finance.
  • Provide timely, data‑driven forecasts and insights to the Chief Sales Officer and executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quota‑carrying experience selling SaaS, data analytics, or enterprise software to insurance carriers or brokers, with consistent over‑achievement.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with success closing net‑new logos over $100K+ ACV.
  • Mastery of MEDDIC or similar qualification methodology (MEDDPICC, BANT), with ability to articulate wins using it.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft) including custom fields and reporting.
  • Fluency with AI‑assisted prospecting and productivity tools (GPT, Copilots, intent data).
  • Strong executive presence and ability to navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder buying processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships within P&C insurance carriers, MGAs or large brokerages.
  • Experience selling data platforms, predictive analytics, or AI solutions.
  • Formal sales training (Sandler, Gap Selling, Force Management, etc.).

Annual Salary: MARKET based
