Job Description
SUMMARY
This position is accountable for proactively calling national and regional multi-location companies to generate leads and to set appointments for the sales organization for both corporate advantage and business advantage opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Initiates calls under direct supervision, to potential customers to generate leads or set appointments.

Understands the product and is able to effectively apply that knowledge to generation new business.

Gathers accurate documentation efficiently and effectively build customer relationships resulting in sales

Follows established policies and procedures on selling techniques, customer relations and system documentation, including following a script and attempting to overcome objections by the customer.

Maintain established quotas and communicates quota attainment reporting to management team.

Adheres to all policies, practices, and standards of the Company and our clients to ensure good order and discipline on the production floor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate’s Degree; 3 years sales experience in telemarketing or lead generation; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Telecommunications industry experience preferred, not required.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read, write, do basic math, follow directions, and possess above average listening skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a selection of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
