Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President of a family owned and operated crane rental business, operating out of Northern Colorado. With over 70 years of experience, and a fleet of cranes from 50-ton RT’s to 300-ton AT’s, they are dedicated to offering the highest level of personalized and professional service to their customers
The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for increasing sales in the Northern Rockies region. Will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, have ability and desire to cold call new potential clients, and following up on potential leads. Will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers; Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the region; Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.

Background Required:
  • Outside Sales Experience within the Crane, Heavy Haul or Construction Equipment Rental Industries (5 years)
  • Client / Customer relationships in the geographical region
  • Ability to read crane terminology / read load charts
  • Excellent communication and composure in English (i.e. verbal, written, presentations)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Residence: Greater Denver area / NE Colorado region
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Selling both operated and maintained “Bare” rental crane services to projects and customers
  • Wind Energy contractor relationships
  • Compu-Crane experience / critical lift forms / pick plans
  • Compliance & Safety background
