Sales Support Analyst
Immediate full time entry level Sales Support Analyst in NYC office
Our client is a renowned company that designs, manufactures, and sells apparel. We are committed to delivering high-quality, fashionable clothing to our customers.
They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Analyst to join their team. This role supports the sales and planning team, primarily focusing on the Walmart account and servicing small clients through the NuOrder portal. The Sales Support Analyst will handle a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Item Set Up and Maintenance:
Set up and maintain items in Walmart's item360 platform: Ensure that all product information is accurately entered into Walmart’s item360 platform. This includes product descriptions, pricing, imagery, and specifications. Regularly review and update item data to reflect any changes in product details or pricing.
Data accuracy: Work closely with the sales and planning teams to verify the accuracy of the data entered and to correct any discrepancies.
- Production Order Creation:
Create production orders: Generate production orders based on sales forecasts and planning inputs. Ensure that orders are correctly entered into the system and communicated to the manufacturing team.
Track and monitor orders: Follow up on production orders to ensure timely completion and delivery. Communicate any delays or issues to the relevant teams.
- Style Master Creation and Maintenance:
Create and maintain Style Master data: Develop and update Style Master records in the RLM application. This includes entering detailed product information, such as materials, sizes, and colors.
Data integrity: Ensure that all style data is accurate and up-to-date, collaborating with sales and design teams to capture any changes or new developments.
- Customer PO Management:
Respond to and troubleshoot customer purchase orders: Address any issues or discrepancies in purchase orders received through the EDI system. Work with the EDI team to resolve errors and ensure orders are processed smoothly.
Customer communication: Liaise with customers to clarify order details and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Sample Packing and Shipping:
Pack and ship product samples: Organize and oversee the packing and shipping of product samples to Walmart. Ensure that samples are accurately labeled and shipped on time.
Inventory management: Keep track of sample inventory and coordinate with the logistics team
to manage sample stock levels.
- Order Quotes:
Complete order quotes: Prepare and submit order quotes in the Walmart Quote Management application. Ensure quotes are accurate and submitted within required timelines.
Pricing and terms: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that quotes reflect current pricing
and terms of sale.
- Prepack Creation:
Create assorted prepacks: Develop assorted prepacks in the RLM application based on sales needs and customer requirements. Ensure that prepacks are correctly configured and documented.
Quality assurance: Verify the accuracy and completeness of prepack configurations to prevent
issues during production and shipping.
- Category Benchmarking Projects:
Conduct market analysis: Perform comprehensive market analysis to benchmark Our client products against competitors. Identify trends and opportunities to improve product offerings and market positioning.
Reporting and insights: Prepare detailed reports on market findings and present insights to the
sales and planning teams.
- Manual Order Writing and Entry:
Write and enter manual orders: Accurately write and enter manual orders into the Walmart NOVA app. Ensure that all order details are correct and complete.
Order tracking: Monitor the status of manual orders and update the sales team on order
progress and any issues.
- Weekly POS Data Updates:
Update Walmart POS data: Regularly update Walmart POS data to keep sales reports current.
Extract and analyze POS data to support sales and inventory management.
Data reporting: Generate and distribute weekly sales reports to the sales and planning teams,
highlighting key performance metrics and trends.
- Online Content Management:
Manage and update online content for products: Oversee the online presence of Our client products, ensuring that product descriptions, images, and other content are current and compelling. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to obtain necessary content updates.
Content optimization: Optimize product listings for better visibility and customer engagement, using best practices in SEO and digital merchandising.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a field that has a comparable skill set to perform the job as described, preferably in the apparel industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Walmart's item360 platform and NOVA app. Experience with RLM and EDI systems is a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
