Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of one of the nation’s fastest-growing asset-based freight brokerage firms with a foundation based on the values of ethics, integrity, and quality customer service.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business while maintaining and growing current customers, pricing proposal preparations, and customer service follow-up after the sale. Will need to be energetic and entrepreneurial, with the ability to market a wide variety of commodities to various markets. Responsible for the complete sales process including prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, sourcing new business opportunities, pricing, and building a book of business with the assistance of the Account Management team for year over year growth. The ideal candidate is a confident, highly motivated individual, looking for a great sales opportunity with growth potential. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability throughout North America.

Background Required:
  • Sales, business development, and account management in logistics environment (2+ years)
  • Mode of transportation (i.e. TL, LTL, Intermodal, Heavy Haul)
  • Pricing and margin integrity
  • Negotiations
  • Customer development, profitability, & market penetration
  • Technology Proficient: Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Residence: Dallas, TX
