Packaging Specialist – Commission-Heavy, Consultative Sales Role

We’re looking for a Packaging Specialist who combines a hunter mentality with trust, discipline, and operational curiosity. This is not a transactional sales role. You’ll be paid to uncover problems, challenge outdated packaging decisions, and deliver solutions that reduce cost, complexity, and waste for your customers.
What You’ll Do

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing, distribution, and industrial environments

Open doors with decision-makers by diagnosing packaging inefficiencies - not pitching products

Conduct thorough packaging evaluations that examine materials, design, vendors, inventory, and handling processes

Recommend smarter packaging systems that improve efficiency, reduce SKUs, consolidate vendors, and lower total cost

Lead ongoing customer discussions around current projects, upcoming initiatives, and continuous improvement opportunities

Build long-term customer relationships grounded in credibility, follow-through, and results
What You’ll Sell (But Never as a Catalog)
You’ll support customers across a broad range of packaging solutions, including corrugated and chipboard packaging, protective materials, pallet and load stabilization products, stretch wrap, tapes, labels, bulk packaging, pallets, void fill, and related consumables. The value isn’t in the products, it’s in how they’re combined, optimized, and managed.
Compensation Structure
This is a commission-heavy role with a generous structure (50/50 split) with uncapped earning potential.
This is an opportunity to sell as if you're running your own business without the added stress of actually running your own business.
