Our client, a specialized provider of interior finishes, is looking for a Sales Specialist to help them grow their business across the GTA. Please note that this company has a "Proof of full vaccination" policy in place.
Responsibilities
As part of the Commercial Sales team, the Sales Specialist, will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:
- Develop and manage large project opportunities from the planning stage to gain preferential spec position. Hold and maintain the specification through to close.
- Generate and maintain a regional blueprint including identifying and prioritizing key accounts and project opportunities to drive revenue and hit targets
- Actively track and regularly update market activity using Salesforce
- Manage a project pipeline delivering revenue against business goals
- Conduct continuing education unit and product presentations to better inform and educate customers
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the stone industry for both residential and commercial design process
- Execute the launch of new offerings. Provide customers with samples, literature and technical support
- Maintain an effective home office
Qualifications
The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Able to show proof of full vaccination
- 2 or more years of sales experience, ideally in Architecture & Design, Interiors, Construction, or similar
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and to create long lasting relationships
- A team player - ability to collaborate, share information and resources
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills, persuasive and able to create win / win solutions
- Experience entering information in to a CRM (Salesforce or similar)
- This opportunity allows you to work from a home office and receive a car allowance
