About Our Client
Our client, a specialized provider of interior finishes, is looking for a Sales Specialist to help them grow their business across the GTA. Please note that this company has a "Proof of full vaccination" policy in place.
As part of the Commercial Sales team, the Sales Specialist, will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:
  • Develop and manage large project opportunities from the planning stage to gain preferential spec position. Hold and maintain the specification through to close.
  • Generate and maintain a regional blueprint including identifying and prioritizing key accounts and project opportunities to drive revenue and hit targets
  • Actively track and regularly update market activity using Salesforce
  • Manage a project pipeline delivering revenue against business goals
  • Conduct continuing education unit and product presentations to better inform and educate customers
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the stone industry for both residential and commercial design process
  • Execute the launch of new offerings. Provide customers with samples, literature and technical support
  • Maintain an effective home office

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
  • Able to show proof of full vaccination
  • 2 or more years of sales experience, ideally in Architecture & Design, Interiors, Construction, or similar
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and to create long lasting relationships
  • A team player - ability to collaborate, share information and resources
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong negotiation skills, persuasive and able to create win / win solutions
  • Experience entering information in to a CRM (Salesforce or similar)
  • This opportunity allows you to work from a home office and receive a car allowance
