Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships within a defined territory. This role is focused on achieving profitability and expanding market penetration by developing new accounts and providing tailored solutions to customers’ needs. The ideal candidate is results-driven, customer-focused, and capable of building strong business partnerships.
Duties

Promote and secure orders from both existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based sales approach.

Present and demonstrate products and services, assisting customers in identifying the best solutions for their needs.

Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships within the assigned territory to generate new business.

Conduct phone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to engage prospective and current customers.

Research and qualify potential accounts to expand the customer base.

Prepare effective proposals and quotations for customers.

Resolve customer problems and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Analyze market potential and customer value to prioritize opportunities.

Provide management with reports on customer needs, challenges, competitive activity, and potential opportunities.

Stay informed about product applications, market conditions, promotional trends, and competitor activities.

Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of one year of sales or service experience in the agricultural industry.

Post-secondary degree preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer solutions.

Results-oriented, able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license.

Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
