About the Company:

Our client is a leading provider of material handling equipment, offering sales, rentals, service, maintenance, parts, and training for forklifts and industrial cleaning equipment throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

They are currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Promote equipment, rentals, service, parts, and maintenance solutions
• Manage an assigned sales territory
• Conduct customer site visits and needs assessments
• Prepare quotations and proposals
• Follow up on leads and sales opportunities
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Meet or exceed sales targets
• Stay current on industry trends and products
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of successful B2B outside sales experience
• Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Experience in material handling equipment, industrial equipment, construction equipment, or heavy equipment sales is an asset
• Experience selling service contracts or recurring revenue programs is considered an asset
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand customer applications
• Knowledge of forklift equipment and warehouse operations
