Guided Search Partners
Guided Search Partners is an Executive Search firm built on Trust, Transparency, Specialization, and Long-term Relationships. We connect high-performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.

About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing organization that serves the food industry with a broad portfolio of well-established instrument brands focused on food safety and quality. While the company itself has been in business for 10 years, many of its brands and product lines have been in the market for decades, with some established for more than 40 years. This role was created as part of a product line split and will focus specifically on the lab equipment side of the business. It is a strong fit for a sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers, working with technical products, and helping grow the U.S. market across a large territory.

What You’ll Do
Manage a multi-state territory and focus on selling lab instruments to food and feed customers. The product portfolio includes instruments used throughout the process, including in-line, on-line, and laboratory applications. You’ll work closely with a strong internal sales team that helps qualify leads, along with marketing and brand-specific technical resources that support the sales process. This role is customer-facing and designed for someone who wants to be active in the field, build relationships, and drive growth.

Who You Are
You are a driven sales professional who is comfortable selling technical products and spending time with customers in the field. You know how to build relationships, move opportunities forward, and work well with internal teams that support the sales process. You are also someone who enjoys a large territory, values autonomy, and is motivated by growth and uncapped earning potential.

Preferred Experience & Attributes
  • Capital equipment sales experience required.
  • Experience selling imaging, NIR, or other analytical instruments.
  • Food and beverage industry experience required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science field preferred.
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role with a technical product line.

Why This Role Matters
This role supports an important growth effort in the U.S. market for a company with strong products, a solid pipeline, and meaningful internal support. The right person will help expand the reach of a respected instrument portfolio across a key territory. It is a strong opportunity for someone who wants the backing of a solid marketing team, qualified leads, technical support, and the ability to earn well while growing the business.
