Outside Account Executive – Packaging & Labeling Solutions
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Outside Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for generating new business, expanding accounts, and building long-lasting client relationships within the packaging, labeling, and related industries. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of proven B2B sales experience, high energy, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to senior leadership, this position focuses on acquiring new customers, increasing market share, and exceeding sales targets through proactive outreach, strategic account management, and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Drive outbound sales efforts to secure new business with targeted prospects and accounts.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Use CRM tools (such as Salesforce) to manage accounts, track activities, and close deals.

Negotiate with customers while ensuring quality, technical, and service requirements are met.

Develop tailored solutions by aligning customer needs with product capabilities.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.

Manage customer projects with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.

Create and deliver compelling presentations that showcase value and ROI.

Develop account plans with clear growth objectives, forecasts, and strategies.

Build relationships across multiple decision-makers within customer organizations.

Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.

Travel up to 50% to meet clients, attend events, and support territory growth.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in packaging, labeling, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM platforms.

Valid driver’s license with ability to travel extensively.
