Sales Rep Kauai

Large company is looking for a sales rep to call on established and new accounts selling print media advertising for the hotel, restaurants, retail stores and tourist destinations.  Someone with print media advertising sales experience would be ideal and that lives on the Island of Kauai would be ideal.  The publication is printed and distributed on a weekly bases so that there would be a high demand of call activity that would be needed form the sales rep.  The sales rep would also be required to design basic lay out of the ads and have the creative orientation to come up with new ideas and content that will bring in the sales to the customer.  This is almost a direct response type of advertising media.  This will require someone that can think on their feet in front of the customer to come up with new twists and ideas on the spot.  Being that it is a high volume sales call territory with weekly calls to the customer base, it will be important that the sales rep is very good at managing their time and sales call activity. Someone that is a good planner will work the best for this position.  There will be a meet the deadline type of mentality that will be required due the nature of the publishing industry.  Someone that is good at submitting design lay out on a tight schedule so as to be all ways be meeting the printing schedule of each edition of the magazine, is a desired quality in a sales rep. Salary + comm to 60k total package.
