Sales Rep (IT)

The Sales Executive position will report directly to the Sales Manager and is responsible for prospecting and closing new client accounts, projects, and services.
Main responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
- Adhere to the sales strategy laid out by the Sales Manager
- Meet or exceed monthly targets
- Maintain detailed and accurate account information
- Constantly prospect for new business. Ask for referrals
- Prospect Calling
- Schedule prospect follow-up appointments and technical assessments
- Prepare and present sales proposals
- Close prospects and obtain necessary documentation and payments
Work experience requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years Sales Experience, including Outside Sales Experience
- College Degree in any field
- Outside sales experience with selling any of the following: IT services and products, managed IT services, managed security services, compliance services, or IT consulting (Preferred)
- Track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and the sales process
- Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships
- High energy and drive with good negotiation skills
- Proficient with general office applications
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Skilled in verbal and written communications
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Essential Duties
- Outbound Sales Calls to Prospects: 50%
- Sales Appointments: 30%
- Promote Company through Events and Social Media: 5%
- Assist in Development of Marketing Plans, Promotions, and Lists: 5%
- Preparing Proposals and Other Administrative Duties: 10%
