Sales Rep Food Service Maui

Company seeks a sales rep to call on restaurants, cafeterias, C-store, Grocery deli sections, hotels, government facilities and buildings selling food & items used for take out orders.  The right person should be able to make cold calls to bring in new business. They should also be good at calling on existing accounts to help the clients bring on other products the company sells.  The position will also require someone adept at writing up orders so the right product will be delivered to the clients facilities on a timely bases but at the same time not over burdening the clients warehouse space or storage facilities.  This position will require someone that can build long term vendor-user relationships.  The more someone is trusted by the client the more that client will purchase from them.  So right person will be someone with over all great people skills, plus knowledge of the consumer goods product industry. The comp package will go up to 70k to start, someone with good sales and people skills can build off of that base and grow the territory.  Someone that has sold to restaurants and grocery stores would be the most ideal candidate.  The next best would be someone that has worked in a restaurant or grocery store and has had some other type of outside sales experience. This position will also require someone with a good driving record and be some what familiar with the road system. Someone with contacts in the restaurant and grocery and or hotel industry would be also considered as well.
