Sales Rep Ag & Landscape Equipment

Large Ag and Landscape company is seeking a sales rep to call on farms and agricultural accounts and sell small equipment up to 10k in price range and Larger equipment up to 80k in price range.  The right candidate must have good sales experience selling farm, Ag or Construction equipment or they can have been a user and sold some other kind of product and then learn how to sell farm and ag equipment.  But they must have well develop commercial sales skills.  This is a big ticket long cycle sales process but at the same time the right candidate needs to have excellent customer facing skills because there is a real defined marketplace that can't be burned off with overly aggressive sales tactics.  Salary 50K + comm to 80k or 90k + car allowance.  This will be a new position so the right person will have to be good at making cold calls to introduce yourself for future business.  The company also has a lot of smaller fast turn equipment and supplies and parts that will keep you in the return sales to balance out monthly income until the big deals come through.  Knowledge of construction, ag, farm and landscape equipment and supplies is a must. They are looking for someone that is currently living in Hawaii and have a lot of contacts in the marketplace.
