Sales Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead, oversee, and elevate our sales organization. This role will directly manage our team of Regional Agency Managers, ensuring they are equipped with effective systems, processes, and accountability measures to drive new business growth while strengthening existing agent relationships.
Reporting directly to the President and Chairman, the Sales Manager will be a hands-on leader, responsible for implementing our CRM systemas the foundation for sales activity tracking, pipeline management, and performance measurement. You will set clear sales activity metrics and new agent acquisition goals, while also establishing standards for relationship management and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Lead and support the team of Regional Agency Managers, providing coaching, guidance, and accountability.
- Sales Systems: Design and implement sales processes that drive consistent, scalable results across the team.
- CRM Implementation: Fully implement CRM as the central tool for sales reporting, activity tracking, and pipeline management.
- Accountability & Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including:
- Sales activity efforts (calls, meetings, outreach).
- New agent acquisition and new title file volume both from the company’s established geographic footprint and new states.
- Standards for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing agents. - Agent Growth: Ensure Regional Agency Managers are actively cultivating relationships with current agents, increasing retention and file production.
- Reporting: Deliver regular performance updates to executive leadership with clear data-driven insights.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with operations, underwriting, and marketing to align efforts and maximize agent success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in sales management, preferably in a B2B environment.
- CRM expertise and a track record of driving adoption across a team.
- Strong process orientation — ability to design, implement, and enforce scalable sales systems.
- Results-driven mindset with experience setting and hitting sales goals.
- Coaching ability to develop and motivate a distributed sales team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in the title insurance, real estate, financial services or related software technology industries is a plus, but not required.
