Sales Manager
The Sales Manager for our PET and Preform business will be responsible for:
Lead the commercial sales activity and business growth related to PET preforms and rigid packaging for target customers and industries - primarily beverage.
Solidify relationships at all levels of existing core accounts and identify and secure business with new accounts
Define "go to market" approach for rPE ie. direct, co-manufacturers, brokers
Be able to think strategically and represent rPE as the primary sales executive to PET preform and packaging customers and prospects
Fine-tune rPE value proposition and differentiation for preforms with consideration of market dynamics and competitive trends
Continuously drive profitable growth beginning with identifying customer/market opportunity and work with rPE colleagues to find win/win solutions
Invest time in all key stakeholder relationships: customers, internal team, industry colleagues
Help VP of Sales and Senior Leadership define strategy to profitably grow preform business (2x) over the next 3 years
Diligently utilize CRM to monitor progress and drive results
Understand effects of external changes, pivot either tactical or strategic focus for specific products and how this may affect rPE adjustments

7 plus years in direct or outside sales in business development "hunting"
Demonstrate ability to find new business, build strong relationships and develop deep understanding of customer needs and drivers of success
Proven track record of career sales growth
In depth sales, sales management, strategic planning and execution skills
Executive level sales and presentation skills
Demonstrated team player, ability to collaborate with other management teams, departments
Strong skills in MS Office Suite, working with a CRM, Powerpoint
Bachelors degree
Strong exposure to beverage market in Western US ie. water, carbonated soft drinks, on carbonated, specialty drinks, flavorings, dairy/dairy alternatives
Direct selling experience in one of or multiple PET preforms, bottles, caps, labels, aluminum cans, equipment OEM's preform systems, bottle molding, filling, capping, contract fills
Relative technical knowledge and acumen
Direct experience and connections with multi-channel market approach: direct to brand owners, co-manufacturers, preform brokers/distributors
Strong knowledge of plastics recycling and sustainability
Direct professional experience using structured selling process ie. Miller Heiman, Sandler etc
Direct professional experience utilizing CRM process and tools eg. Sales Force
