Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of a premier, non-asset logistics provider that is experiencing rapid growth while staying committed to an excellent customer experience.
The Sales Manager is responsible for the management of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, and channel strategies. Responsible for development and growth of an inside sales team. Manage all aspects of the sales functions including inside sales and liaison with customer service and operations teams. Responsible for the development and implementation of an aggressive growth plan of the non-asset brokerage business. Will work in coordination with other company resources, develop the strategic and tactical direction for the region, and establish management processes. This smart, self-motivated, goal-oriented sales professional will lead by example and hold themselves accountable in order to achieve goals. Challenge is to build a world-class team, develop high-level service offerings, motivate and lead a staff, while increasing revenues and improving profitability.

- Sales, Account Management, Business Development in non-asset environment (5+ years)
- Sales Management (Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor) (2+ years)
- Mode of Transportation (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized)
- Strong Selling Skills
- Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
- Develop and execute business plan strategies
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Education: College Graduate
- Residence: Indianapolis, IN (relocation assistance)
