About the Opportunity
An industry-leading manufacturer of pulp and fiber products, with a strong international presence, is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead their growth strategy in the United States. This confidential role offers the opportunity to drive revenue across a diverse customer base, including paper producers, packaging companies, building products manufacturers, and specialty product manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share and revenue within the United States.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with key accounts across the paper, packaging, building products, and specialty manufacturing sectors.
  • Drive sales growth by targeting new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product development teams to meet customer needs and achieve company goals.
  • Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitive activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in pulp and fiber products, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales in a multi-state region, with a focus on the target customer base.
  • Strong knowledge of the pulp and fiber manufacturing landscape and its applications in paper, packaging, construction, and specialty products.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. to meet customer and business needs.
