Job description
Job Title: Regional Sales Representative
Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager
Job Description: Contribute to the continued growth and success of the company focused on customer demand creation, new customer acquisition and new business development within assigned territories and focused markets/industries.
Markets/Industries: Food and beverage, textile and furniture, building supply, chemical, concrete, agriculture, and others.
Manage current customer base and book of business, build a strong pipeline of opportunities, sell and maintain business in focused areas of LDPE/LLDPE: Shrink bundling film, stretch hooder, shrink hooder, wide film, sheeting, liners and bags. Grow customer potential in correlation with our company’s core values and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan schedule to maximize company exposure and revenue generating activities
- Make quality and consistent prospecting calls and emails daily
- Effectively convey our company profile, values, programs, and capabilities
- Obtain specifications, annual usage, and release quantities to qualify leads
- Listen to the needs of prospects and clients and align them with company offerings
- Perform cost-benefit analysis for potential/existing clients to connect with their initiatives and goals
- Set appointments for introductions, presentations, follow-ups, trials, etc., to drive the sales cycle forward
- Keep sales management well informed with comprehensive information on any important sales and account developments, whether positive or negative
- Participate in weekly sales calls and quarterly sales meetings
- Participate in industry trade shows as assigned
- Communicate market changes and new developments to clients
- Continually keep prospects/clients informed of the latest company advancements and offer solutions to prospects/clients where areas of improvement are identified
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Understand and apply the principles and procedures required by the job
- Ensure all procedural requirements are collected and prepared in a complete and accurate fashion and channeled properly for review/processing
- Provide and report detailed information on new samples, and keep management informed of all product trial results throughout each stage of our qualification protocol
- Consistently send itineraries to our established distribution list and update management on the results of travel
- Keep pipeline/CRM tool up-to-date and ready for review at any time
- Maintain a high level of organization/discipline in all aspects of responsibilities

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years of industry experience in primary or secondary packaging required
- Direct product knowledge in our primary industries preferred
- Target industry exposure without direct product experience considered
