We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and expand the sales team within our globally recognized court reporting company. Our firm provides top-tier court reporting, videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support services worldwide. This strategic leadership role involves guiding and developing a team of Account Executives to achieve remarkable revenue growth and exceptional client service. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and maintaining close communication with the Co-Founder and Managing Partner, the successful candidate will be vital in shaping our sales strategy and organizational growth.
Salary: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and drive a team of Account Executives to exceed sales targets by implementing strategic sales plans and initiatives.
- Maintain accountability for the quality and completeness of account planning, ensuring continuous optimization of sales processes.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of the sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and competency standards.
- Guide team members in developing new business opportunities and deepening existing client relationships to foster business growth.
- Ensure rigorous maintenance and analysis of sales pipeline health to optimize sales outcomes.
- Develop and enforce a comprehensive understanding of client needs within the team to tailor services effectively.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing, actionable feedback to team members.
- Analyze sales data to accurately forecast future sales and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on performance improvements and best practice sharing to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Direct industry experience in court reporting services.
- Minimum of five years in sales management, preferably leading teams of ten or more.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Familiarity with technology and software solutions used in the legal services sector.
- Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field.
- Experience in international business settings.
- Proven ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
