Sales Lead – (Player Coach)
- We’re reshaping the art and science of commercial underwriting for Carriers and MGAs. At the core of our innovation lies a Centralized Underwriting platform powered by agentic underwriting services that deliver decision ready outcomes.
- Automate intake, triage, and data enrichment from documents and external data sources, enabling underwriters to win the right accounts faster, scale capacity, and improve loss ratios.
- We support dozens of carriers and MGAs across the U.S. We drive 85% faster underwriting, 32% higher premium per underwriter, and up to 700 basis points improvement in loss ratios.
The Role
- Sales Lead, hands on seller who can close enterprise deals and coach our U.S. Account Executives.
- This is a player coach role reporting directly to the CEO and is responsible for driving our U.S. GTM motion, shaping sales processes, and building the foundation for scaling the team.
What You Will Own
- Lead full cycle sales for mid market and enterprise carriers and MGAs.
- Build, manage, and forecast a high quality pipeline with disciplined accuracy.
- Run complex enterprise deals and multithread across underwriting, operations, innovation, and C suite.
- Deliver high impact demos and communicate clear ROI and business value.
- Coach and support the U.S. Account Executive through deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and weekly coaching sessions.
- Create and refine sales playbooks, messaging, objection handling, and demo narratives.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer Success for seamless execution and strong customer outcomes.
- Influence the product roadmap by sharing customer insights and market trends.
- Establish sales processes, cadences, and operating rhythms for predictable revenue execution.
- Participate in hiring future AEs, SDRs, and Sales Engineers as the team scales.
Role Requirements
- Proven track record of closing six-figure enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience selling into the P&C insurance ecosystem.
- Deep expertise in structured sales methodologies, including MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN.
- Prior experience coaching or mentoring AEs or SDRs.
- Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot preferred).
- Ability to operate independently in a founder-led, high-growth startup.
- Understanding of AI or machine learning concepts or experience selling technical products.
- Experience handling long sales cycles and complex procurement processes.
- Become the first senior revenue hire in the U.S.
- Work directly with the Founder and CEO on GTM strategy.
- Play a key role in building the U.S. sales motion and future team.
