These are the Questions I ask the Hiring Manager to get a better understanding of the Opportunity, the Culture and the Solution.

  • My candidates will be recruited candidates who are happy at their current job, so we have to be able to show them that there is a better opportunity at the Company. What is the sizzle around the Company? What makes your company unique? (What do you have to offer customers?)
  • The secret sauce of Company is our modern architecture—built with AI and low code/no code capabilities at the core.
  • Our platform empowers customers with configurability, automation, and intelligence that traditional systems can’t offer.

  • Why would a Top Tier person want to come work at Company? What is it about your company that breeds excellence and cultivates a candidate's career? This is a hard question to sometimes answer. Maybe list past successes of the people in this position we're discussing, why your unique offering is going to enable the candidate to make more money, have a better quality of life, grow professionally. Facts sell. Are there any awards the technology or company has received, i.e. best place to work in Denver for 2024.
  • Company is a place where exceptional people can make an outsized impact.
  • We're a small, agile team where every voice is heard and every contribution matters.
  • Team members have a high degree of autonomy and influence, and there's significant opportunity to grow—both technically and professionally—as we scale. For example, one team member started in support and is now a lead data architect responsible for our replication process

  • How will this candidate be able to flex his/her creative muscles?
  • We are in the early stages so there will be opportunity to help define processes, leverage new technologies like AI, and help influence the product especially with our Company Policy product which is being developed.

    • Adaptability and willingness to learn and help out where needed while also maintaining strong capabilities to learn and grow technically.
    • Strong insurance knowledge with experience being a part of successful data conversions and implementations
    • Great communicator and easy to work with.
