Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic Remote / Field-Based Full-Time

Overview

Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across the Mid-Atlantic region for its intelligent entrance and access control solutions business. This is a high-impact, externally facing sales role focused on expanding market presence, driving pull-through demand with end users, and strengthening relationships across the broader channel ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in security, access control, architectural products, or related B2B solution sales, with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders across complex buying cycles. This person will play a critical role in growing revenue, developing new integration partnerships, and increasing visibility with architects, engineers, and consultants who help shape project specifications early in the process.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow sales performance for the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Drive pull-through demand by engaging directly with end users and helping create preference for our client’s solutions upstream in the sales cycle
  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with systems integrators, channel partners, and other key go-to-market allies
  • Identify and onboard new integration partners to strengthen regional coverage and increase market penetration
  • Develop strong relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, and other specification influencers to position solutions early in project planning
  • Partner closely with internal teams to support opportunity development, project pursuit strategy, and successful handoff from specification through close
  • Maintain a strong regional presence in the market through meetings, partner engagement, industry events, and customer visits
  • Track pipeline activity, market trends, competitive dynamics, and channel performance to inform regional sales strategy
  • Represent the business as a trusted advisor, educating partners and clients on the value of intelligent access control

What You’ll Need

  • Proven success in a regional sales, channel sales, or business development role within security, access control, building products, or a related industry
  • Experience selling through and with channel partners, especially systems integrators, A&E's, or spec-driven partners
  • Demonstrated ability to create pull-through demand with end users while influencing broader project stakeholders
  • Strong network or experience working with A&E firms, consultants, and specification-driven sales environments
  • Skilled at managing long sales cycles and navigating multiple decision-makers across technical and commercial audiences
  • Commercially driven, self-motivated, and comfortable operating independently in a field-based role
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and territory planning skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region as needed
