Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Branch Director of one of the fastest growing full-service, asset-based, logistics organizations that provides convenient freight-matching services. This organization is committed to innovation, investment in technology, and continually improving the customer experience.
The Sales Executive is responsible for the development of profitable non-asset business. Will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts specific to the Truckload Brokerage offering. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. This role will include inside and outside selling. Challenge is to expand account base, increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Business Development within Transportation Brokerage (4+ years)
  • Proven track record of building a book of business
  • Mode of transportation (i.e., Truckload, LTL, intermodal)
  • Pricing and margin integrity
  • Negotiations
  • Customer development, profitability, & market penetration
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Residence: Remote (USA, Canada, Mexico)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
