Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the local Station Manager and in turn to the US Director of Sales for a premier provider of global transportation, warehousing, and logistics services with headquarters in Virginia, multiple offices throughout the United States and an international office in London. This logistics leader provides exceptional service in the areas of General cargo, Government services, and Biopharma services. Our decades of experience and focus on our clients’ specialized needs keeps customers coming back year after year.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for outside sales with emphasis on building your own book of business through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking and closing new deals while a continuous engagement with your customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts. Candidate will conduct sales pitches and presentations with nationwide large and enterprise customer accounts with emphasis on developing and executing a business plan that will generate hyper revenue growth and exceed the sales quotas set by the company. Also responsible for Partnering with Customer Support and Operations teams to enhance the customer experience and keep customer satisfaction and retention rates high.

Background Required:
  • Freight forwarding field sales (5 years)
  • Knowledge of air, ocean, import, export
  • Proven track record of success
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Bids and proposals preparation
  • Regional market knowledge
  • Computer Systems: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Residence: VA, NJ, GA, IL, CA
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Logistic selling: BioPharma and Government sectors
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Domestic/International freight forwarding
  • Freight forwarding operations
