Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President of a privately held driver recruitment and safety technology software solutions provider founded in 2014. Specializing in integrated risk mitigation tools, the company has more than 75 subscribers ranging from $375 to $15,000 per month expecting 60% growth in 2022.

The Sales Executive is a hunter responsible for developing new business, selling transportation software that helps companies hire more drivers, achieve higher compliance, and reduce accidents. Expectation is to close no fewer than 6 new clients per month through inbound leads distributed in a round-robin fashion between team. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships over the phone, with in-person meetings, when justified. Schedules and executes sales demos of transportation software product. Builds workflows and sequences to automate working leads. Collaborates with the President and Marketing Manager to create and enhance supporting sales material. Conducts Zoom Meeting demonstrations. Diagnoses a client's pain, differentiate our claims, demonstrate the gain, and deliver the message to the old brain. Answer prospect’s questions directly. Persuasively demonstrate the features and benefits of our software. Meet or exceed our current demo to free 14-day trial conversion rate. Tailor a template proposal to clearly demonstrates the ROI. Manage the trail to close and create a smooth hand off to the Client Success Team. Challenge is to increase revenue & maximize profitability. Travel up to 25%.

Background Required:
  • Transportation sales (4 years)
  • National sales account management
  • Transportation safety & driver recruitment relationships
  • Planned, developed, & executed strategic business plans for products-services
  • Time & territory management reporting processes (CRM, i.e.: HubSpot, MS Dynamics, Salesforce)
  • Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
  • Location: Prefer: Cleveland, OH (Home office environment / remote)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Transportation mode (Truckload, LTL, bulk, bus, etc.)
  • Sold discretionary products, services, & technologies into commercial trucking
  • Software sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Technology
