Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President, BD, Sales & Marketing of a privately held, award-winning provider of web-based software solutions that help companies track, monitor, and diagnose high-value assets and collaborate with mobile workers. Founded in 2004, the company has more than 650 customers in North America.

The Sales Executive is a hunter responsible for developing new Telematics solutions business, selling directly to heavy duty trucking, typically ranging in size from 50 to 2,500 vehicles. Goal is to generate $3,000 in monthly recurring revenue (MRR) or 125 vehicles per month. Expectation is to grow revenue and maintain 85% quota attainment. Will focus on fleet-management-ELD in heavy duty trucking. Sales process: Lead generation; own customer A to Z; if needed, collaborate with integration team; sign contract; turn over to implementation team who hands over to account management. Duties will include technology assessment, sales presentations, product demonstration, and negotiating contracts with potential clients. Identify opportunities, via prospecting, to build a book of business. Maintain Salesforce.com opportunity and account records. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships over the phone, with in-person meetings, when justified. Schedules and executes sales demos of transportation software product. Builds workflows and sequences to automate working leads. Continuously work to improve effectiveness, efficiency, in our products and services. Conducts Zoom Meeting demonstrations. Diagnoses a client's pain, differentiate our claims, demonstrate the gain, and deliver the message to the old brain. Answer prospect’s questions directly. Persuasively demonstrate the features and benefits of our software. Tailor a template proposal to clearly demonstrates the ROI. Manage the trail to close and create a smooth hand off to the client success team. Travel 20% (to trade shows, visit large accounts, occasionally to Canada).

  • Planned, developed, & executed strategic business plans for products-services
  • Time & territory management reporting processes
  • CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com)
  • Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
  • Location: Prefer: near major airport in cst (Remote home office environment)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Technology
