Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President of a logistics company focused on providing on-demand courier, custom delivery solutions, overnight linehaul, big & bulky home delivery services, strategic parts logistics, forward stacking locations, forward depots, dedicated fleets, as well as 3PL and 4PL warehousing including cross docking and bulk storage. They serve the state of Texas with couriers in most sizeable cities and have seven physical warehouses in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Rio Grande Valley, and Corpus Christi. Generates over $25 million in annual revenue, with 40 associates, and 300 independent contractors. Pride themselves on technology, simplicity, and problem solving.

The Sales Executive (Medical Courier) is responsible for increasing revenue both by adding new business and growing existing accounts. They must have a record of meeting and exceeding quotas as well managing full sales cycles from implementation all the way to account management. This person will have to generate new leads, revive dormant accounts, build trust with existing accounts, and find new ways to land and grow business. This person should learn to understand the company's current capabilities and develop business that aligns with them. This person must be driven to increase revenues, exceed quotas, and be a champion both for the company and their customers. The company seeks an individual invested in its long-term success as well as their own. As part of their retention strategy, they aim for the sales executive to maintain a strong connection with the clients they acquire. The commission structure is designed to incentivize this: the sales executive will be compensated for the entire duration of the account's life. This ensures that if operational issues arise that might dissatisfy the client, the sales rep remains in touch and can promptly address and communicate any concerns.

Background Required:
  • Courier sales or home delivery sales (3 years)
  • Meet and exceed quota ($1 million 1st year, $2 million 2nd year, $3 million 3rd year)
  • Repeatable sales process management (prospect, contact, solution design, close, implementation, account management)
  • Develop business plans, SOPs, KPIs and exceed expectations.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts.
