Sales Estimator - Multifamily - North Atlanta

Salary: $50,000 to $80,000 plus Commission/Incentives

One of our clients that specializes in Multifamily Renovation and Restoration is seeking a Sales Estimator to join their Procurement team due to continued growth. This role offers the opportunity to directly increase company profits by making the most high-quality and cost-effective purchases. The Sales Estimator will report directly to the Project Controller and is responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items. This role does have the potential for incentives and bonuses

Duties

-Developing estimates and bids for construction projects

-Completing take-offs to gather information for bids

-Reading plans and specifications

-Utilize estimating software to perform plan takeoffs

-Understanding and navigating building codes

-Reviewing sites and gathering information for estimates for work on existing buildings

-Designing solutions for customer’s problems

-Operating company estimating system to develop bids and estimates

-Facilitating the Pre-construction process including but not limited to:

  • Scheduling
  • Mobilization
  • Accounting Set up – Budget and Estimates
  • Sub Contractor Agreements

-Review project budgets during the project

-Facilitate bid process and documents

-Create proposal documents

-Walk sites to assist with quantifying and estimating

-Organize document repository in project tracking software

-Collect price quotes through purchasing and competitive suppliers and subs

-Manage client relationships and proposal follow-up activities

-Flexible coverage of other tasks deemed necessary by STAG Supervisor

Skills Required/Preferred:

-Strong math skills including basic arithmetic, algebra and geometry

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a focus on Microsoft Excel

-Estimating software experience (BlueBeam preferred)

-Construction management software (BuilderTrend experience preferred)

-Working knowledge of Construction Operations

-Strong typing skills

-Knowledge of building code

-Ability to read and navigate plans and specifications

-Good interpersonal and written communication skills

-Account management and client relationship building

-Strong multi-tasking ability

-Detailed oriented.

Education Needed:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Construction Management Bachelor's Degree is preferred
