Position Title: Sales Engineer

Reports to (Title): Sales Manager

Location: Livonia, MI - Hybrid

Basic Purpose and Objective

Technical liaison between the Company’s OEM Customers and Company’s R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Sales Teams.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving and analyzing RFQ documents and ER
• Deliver requirements to company’s R&D team
• Present technical assessment to customer
• Manage development schedule and lead R&D
• Join testing when necessary
• Be first contact to customer for all technical topics
• Manage quality issues with related team
• Weekly/monthly reporting
• Make technical presentations to customer
• Analyze car market technical trends
• Gather information related to OE maker’s new vehicles and technology

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working directly with automobile manufacturers and Tier One Suppliers.
