Sales Engineer

Working with the territory sales teams, build key customer plans and initiatives that develop and promote After Market Services products. Drive achievement of AMS financial objectives such as orders, sales and profitability targets. Support customers and sales with specialized knowledge of AMS products and the ability to match the right product to the customer need. Present justifiable benefits to customers for aftermarket solutions such as audits, refurbishments, upgrades, Encore, Pro-Act, ShotscopeNX, Training, Extended Protection Plan & Advanced Process Optimization. The area of coverage will be Northeastern USA and Canada. The successful candidate would need to be located within this geographic region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Support creation AMS and Spare Parts sales plans and targets for each region and area manager
  • Build relationships with Husky sales team members and key customers
  • Independently provide support to sales as the Subject Matter Expert in AMS products
  • Support and drive Sales to achieve the planned sales volume and growth rate of AMS products
  • Support selected target markets/customers and products
  • Provide feedback on current products and new opportunities and work with Product Managers and Engineering to establish new product definitions that meet market requirements (e.g. longevity, serviceability, ease of use, upgradeability).

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Advanced knowledge of injection molding concepts and system operation from a user perspective
  • Experience in injection molding maintenance, service team and/or sales would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of Husky controls (hydraulics/software)
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong project, organization and time management skills
  • Advanced understanding of strengths and current markets
  • Ability to independently set and achieve targets

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education (college or university degree) would be preferred but is not essential
5 -10 years’ experience within the Injection Molding Industry with emphasis on IMM Maintenance, Service and/or Sales
