Job Description

Our client is a late-stage biotechnology company that promotes improved health globally through the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative vaccines to prevent serious infectious diseases.

  • Serves as the IT Business Analyst supporting the Supply Chain and Operations organization to ensure delivery of products for clinical and commercial use
  • Supports ERP solutions supporting Materials Management, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Subcontract Manufacturing, and Sales Distribution
  • Supports other solutions in the ERP eco-system, such as cold chain tracking, serialization, and partner data exchange
  • Define and draft system scope and objectives and translate these business requirements into design specifications ensuring that requirements are effectively met, tested and implemented
  • Proactively research products, procedures, and/or workflow needs and identify ways to capture, validate and integrate information to improve overall business process performance
  • Effectively transition designs, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and on developing test cases and test scripts to ensure requirements are met
  • Performs application configuration and functional support as needed
  • Identify and resolve gaps between new and existing business processes and applications and facilitate implementation of new business processes and modifications
  • Liaise between the IT team and the business to agree on user requirement scope and delivery
  • Work Collaboratively with:
    • Business SMEs to identify, verify and document functional and technical requirements using requirements management methodology and tools
    • Business Relationship Managers to develop relationships with the business, and act as their point of contact for application development
    • Architecture function to ensure appropriate translation of business requirements into technical design
    • Process owners to facilitate implementation of new business processes and modifications
  • Other duties as assigned
  • May require periodic weekend/evening work
  • Travel to other sites may be required

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification level, preferably in Information Systems, Supply Chain, relevant science degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • IT-related certification or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience working with information systems required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with an ERP is system is required, experience with SAP S/4 HANA is preferred
  • Practical knowledge and application of cGMPs (industry experience/awareness) especially relating to manufacturing and supply chain processes and procedures
  • Strong influencing, networking, and team working skills
  • Able to manage negotiations, expectations, and solutions across complex groups
  • Must possess excellent customer service, problem solving, troubleshooting, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Experience with process modeling notation such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and/or Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) highly desirable
  • Experience using (or deploying) enterprise modelling tools highly desirable: such as Architecture of Integrated Information Systems (ARIS Cloud/Express)
  • Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) required; applied GAMP5 experience desirable
  • Experience delivering and managing application integrations/interfaces, cloud applications, and external collaboration solutions desirable
  • Experience with ITIL, COBIT, or other IT good practices desirable
