Position Overview
The Sales Director & Strategic Growth Partner will drive revenue growth, market expansion, and client engagement across multiple regions. This role requires a results-driven leader who can build and sustain a high-performing sales team, develop strategic partnerships, and consistently achieve — and exceed — defined sales, customer satisfaction, market share, and GCS KPI targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the title insurance industry, proven leadership ability, and the strategic mindset to position the company for continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Market Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth goals in priority markets (VA, DC, MD, FL, WI).
- Monitor industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity to adapt and refine sales plans.
- Set clear performance goals and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Strategic Partnership Development
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value industry partners, including real estate brokers, mortgage lenders, attorneys, and developers.
- Serve as a trusted business advisor to clients, delivering tailored solutions that enhance value and client satisfaction.
- Team Building, Management & Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing sales professionals.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance evaluations to ensure team members meet and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-energy sales culture that values both individual achievement and team success.
- KPI-Driven Performance Management
- Establish and track sales, client acquisition, retention, and market penetration KPIs.
- Use data analytics and CRM reporting to measure progress, identify gaps, and implement corrective strategies.
- Ensure the team meets or surpasses quarterly and annual KPI goals.
- Revenue & Budget Oversight
- Manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for maximum ROI.
- Monitor profitability and sales program performance to ensure sustainable growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to design targeted campaigns and client engagement initiatives that support growth objectives.
- Work closely with operations and underwriting teams to ensure seamless client experiences from first contact to closing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 7+ years in sales leadership, preferably in title insurance, real estate, mortgage, or a related industry.
- Strong track record of building high-performance sales teams and achieving KPI-driven results.
- Deep understanding of the residential title process and related compliance requirements.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, analytics tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned regions and attend key industry events.
Performance Expectations
- Full ramp-up within 3 months of hire.
- Meet or exceed Sales, Customer, Market, and GCS KPI metrics.
- Maintain high client satisfaction and loyalty scores while driving revenue growth.
