Surgo’s client based in Johannesburg are in need of a determined Sales Development Representative to help bring on new client opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree or above required
1 + years in a similar role (SDR/ BDR/ BDE)
Experience selling SaaS preferred
Experience with Hubspot and SalesLoft preferred
Ability to articulate and build rapport quickly, through strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible
Willingness to learn core technology tools
A passion for sales
Strong analysis and reporting skills
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
Good time management and administrative skills
Willingness to work in UK/US working hours
Book outbound meetings through a combination of cold calls, emails, social outreach and independent research
Engage with prospects
Conduct discovery with prospects to evaluate pain points
Generate and manage sales pipeline; maintain impeccable admin and update all activity in Hubspot CRM software
Work in conjunction with AEs to convert opportunities created into sales-qualified Opportunities
Manage inbound lead enquiries and further qualify them for the AEs
