Job Description:
  • Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders
  • Prepare accurate bills of lading
  • Satisfy air bills in a timely manner
  • Communicate with van lines and airlines to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipmentsArrange same-day deliveries whenever possible
  • Review purchase orders and shipment contents prior to releasing them from our facility
  • Track and analyze mis-shipments to ensure they don’t occur again
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels
  • Ensure quality of all services and processes within the facility
  • Support sales and marketing operations directed by managers
  • Fluent in Japanese & English
  • High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales assistant or logistics support a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • High sense of urgency. Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work 20-25 hours per week (There is a possibility to become full time)
