We are searching for a Sales Representative based in the Denver, CO area.

Basic responsibilities of the Sales Representative include:
  • Taking care of customers
  • Estimates and bids prepared new contracts being bid on assigned customer accounts
  • Quoting and Negotiating sales with customer accounts
  • Process retail sales orders through the computer systems, discussing retail sales order with customers, providing pricing information and soliciting the order by making sure the immediate needs of the customers are met.
  • Follow-up on jobs that have been quoted by contacting the customer to determine the status of the job.
  • Accountable for necessary drawings, credit information, order information, contact personnel information and review routing sheet for accuracy
  • Advise on market trends, competitive price situations and similar market information
  • Resolution of claims and disputes
  • Attend construction industry related functions in sales territory
Qualifications for the positions include:
  • 5+ years experience in construction industry
  • Valid Driver's license required
  • Legally authorized to work in USA without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Knowledge of rebar and other construction materials
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Experience with interpreting drawings and estimating
  • Willing and able to safely travel to customers and other offices inducing periodic overnight travel
  • Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects

  • Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to analyze and think strategically

Preferred qualifications include:
  • 2 year technical degree
  • Ability to estimate rebar work for bids
  • Previous construction sales experience
