We are representing a confidential client in the industrial automation and capital equipment sector seeking a Strategic Account Executive. This role focuses on expanding market presence within industrial cleaning, waterblast, and surface preparation, targeting high-value end users and asset owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue strategic sales opportunities in targeted verticals (water, chemical, abrasives)

  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in key industrial markets

  • Analyze market trends, regulatory drivers, and competitive landscape to shape business development strategy

  • Collaborate with internal R&D, engineering, and product teams to align customer needs with solution development

  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline within capital equipment markets

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in related industries (waterblast, surface prep, industrial cleaning)

  • Strong network of contacts among asset owners, industrial operators, and service providers

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage complex sales cycles, and influence customer decision-making

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills

Travel:

  • Frequent travel required (domestic and international), including trade shows, customer sites, and company locations
