A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION & SALES MANAGER

As a Production & Sales Manager, you grow our operations and act as our main industry point of contact in the Peace Region. You build strong relationships with your clients as you interact with them regularly, poising yourself as an expert and mentor. Working alongside growers, you ensure they maximize their potential and seed quality as well as offer valuable marketing strategies. You also partner with the production team to make sure that products are processed and shipped on time and in accordance with customer specifications. Your innate sales abilities are put to good use as you negotiate contracts as well as handle seed purchasing for regional resale and international distribution. You love interacting with growers and enjoying the views of the beautiful countryside, and you feel great about contributing to the growth and success of the company!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in agronomy
  • Agronomic credentials and certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Canadian work authorization
  • Excellent sales skills

Five years of experience is preferred but not required. Do you manage your time well and effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Are you highly motivated and goal-oriented? Do you have strong interpersonal and communication skills? If so, you might just be perfect for this agricultural sales management position!

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time agronomy position travels frequently within a 150-mile radius of a beautiful country area. May - November is the busy season with the most travel time.
