Ø At least 3 yrs safety experience

ØAssociate or bachelor’s degree from a program centered on safety

ØOSHA 10 Hour & 30 Hour Certification

Daily Responsibilities:

Ø Check Exits, Aisles, Machines, Departments, Docks, Trailers, & Tanks

Ø Check Guards – Machine, Hard Guards, Light Curtains, & All Safety Devices

Ø Fire Alarms & Fire Extinguishers

Ø OSHA Log & First Aid Reports

Ø Provide First Aid & Blood Pressure Checks

Ø Accident/incident investigations.

Ø Drug Screens (Pre-Employment, Random, Suspicion, and Post-Accident)

Ø Orientation

Weekly:

Ø Fork Lift Inspections

Ø Power Press Inspections

Ø Department Safety Meetings

Ø DOT Pre & Post Trip Inspections

Ø New Employee Training Documents

Ø Stock PPE Vending Machines/Cost Reporting

Monthly:

Ø Hoist Inspections

Ø Powder Booth Spark Detections System Test

Ø Supervisor Checklist

Ø Check AEDs

Ø Inspect Hydrants – Visual Inspection
