Safety Manager

The Safety Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the safety program across 2 manufacturing sites to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety. This includes inspection, training, regulatory liaison, investigation, and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer occupational health and safety policies and programs at both manufacturing sites.
• Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies regarding health and safety compliance.
• Investigate safety incidents and employee injuries, recommending and overseeing corrective actions.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and surveys to identify hazards and ensure workplace safety.
• Organize and conduct safety training programs and safety committee meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Previous manufacturing industry experience.
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification, preferred.
• Certifications in HazMat DOT, RCRA, OSHA 30, and HAZWOPER 40, preferred.
