Safety Manager (WTP/WWTP Construction)

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Construction Safety Management.
- Strong background in heavy civil construction safety, preferably with direct experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP/WWTP) projects.
- OSHA 30 certification required; CSP, CHST, or other relevant safety certifications highly desirable.
- Proven ability to implement, monitor, and enforce safety programs across multiple large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Willingness to relocate or already live in El Paso, TX. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all site safety activities for water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments.
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and accident/incident investigations.
- Provide ongoing safety training, toolbox talks, and mentorship to field staff and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate safety records, logs, and reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and owners to proactively address safety concerns.
